Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Vibepad mobile application operated by saturnstudio ("we", "our", or "us").
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Vibepad, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.
Description of Service
Vibepad is a mobile application that transforms your iOS or Android device into a customizable Bluetooth input device for Mac and Windows computers. The app allows you to:
- Send keyboard shortcuts and text to your computer
- Control mouse movements and gestures
- Use voice-to-text for dictation
- Create custom button layouts and configurations
Helper Application Requirement
To use Vibepad, you must install our companion helper application on your Mac or Windows computer. The helper app:
- Receives Bluetooth signals from the mobile app
- Translates those signals into keyboard and mouse inputs
- Requires appropriate system permissions (Accessibility on macOS)
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Vibepad for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the app
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
- Use the app to transmit malicious content or automate prohibited activities
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the app
- Use the app in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our services
Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by saturnstudio and protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
User Content
You retain ownership of any custom configurations, button layouts, and settings you create within the app. This content is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
Third-Party Services
Vibepad integrates with third-party services including:
- OpenAI Whisper: For voice transcription. Use of this feature is subject to OpenAI's terms of service.
- Firebase: For analytics. Subject to Google's terms of service.
- AdMob: For advertising. Subject to Google's advertising terms.
We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The app will meet your specific requirements
- The app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from using the app will be accurate or reliable
- The app will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SATURN STUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the app
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or personal information
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the app
- Any bugs, viruses, or similar harmful code transmitted through the app
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless saturnstudio from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the app or violation of these Terms.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the app will immediately cease.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
